Rick Simpson Oil (RSO)

Rick Simpson Oil RSO

Rick Simpson Oil, aka RSO, is a full extract cannabis oil meant to be taken orally or applied topically. RSO is a marijuana extract made utilizing a solvent to extract cannabinoids. The most common solvent used to produce RSO is grain alcohol, but some other solvents like ethanol or butane are sometimes used.

If you don’t have skin allergies or sensitivities to cannabis, Rick Simpson Oil can be used topically to manage pain, inflammation and certain skin conditions.

How to take RSO

Squeeze the oil onto a small piece of fruit and hold it in your mouth for a brief period before chewing. Then place the RSO drop under your tongue. Patients should always consult with their treating physician about their individual medication regimen.

It will take 30 minutes – 1.5 hours to feel the full effects of the dose as it is absorbed through the digestive tract.

Rick Simpson oil is not for smoking, vaporizing, or dabbing.

CBD vs RSO

CBD oil derived from industrial hemp plants only contain CBD, while Rick Simpson Oil has a high concentration of THC — at least 20% — and the full range of cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.
